: my compressor has an electric motor. the pipe thatcomes from the tank broke off to replace the part i had to either take off the motor or the electric switch which is right above broken pipe . when i took the switch off the two metal plates that have the springs sprung apart and now i can not get themto go back together.is there an easy way to fix it? if so please reply asap. : Why did you take the pressure control apart? If you can't get it together, get a new one and a replacement pipe. If the broken pipe waS WELDED ON, YOU WILL NEED TO DO THE SAME THING. It will be too hard to tap out.
