I understand that there is a sealant available for tires that makes them impervious to flats.
I need such a sealant.

Like to warn all those who use sealants in tires. Please be aware that most sealants are flamable and can cause explosions in tires when ignited. A very good friend of mine was blown to bits when welding on a tractor rim. The tire was under pressure and no one knows how it ignited. No one told him that some one had put sealer in the tire. The explosion blew him 50 feet, blew off the door on his service truck and blew out the windows. The same could also occur if the tractor caught fire I assume. Please be careful.

Are you talking about resistant and self sealing from small punctures or completely not possible to go flat because they fill it with a foam-like product? I have used a couple of the first products on lawn tractors and even a couple farm tractor tires, got them at the local farm supply store. I have had pretty good luck with them in both tube type and tubeless but I think you have to throw away the tire and tube when it comes time for new ones which didn't matter to me where I used it. I have heard of the second products but never used them. I think they use them on demolition equipment applications.

You can make your own sealant. Just save your old antifreeze when you drain and clean you radiator. Mix shredded newpapers in the antifreeze. Mix till you have a thin paste. put this mixture in your tubeless tractor tires. Works like a charm. To save money on tractor tires email [email protected]
