Well hells bells, guys! I expected one or responses and maybe a snide remark, but not 18! Normally I'd try to answer individually, but I'll combine a couple and answer here.My place, the one by the barn in the picture, used to be the town dairy with 75 or so acres, the original owners dropped his single wide on a corner of their property for their daughter to live in. They ran his water and sewer line in when they set the trailer there, permits here were pretty loosey goosey back in the 60's, so no documents filed. Local opinions here in town are that they would prefer I whacked his sewer and water lines, hopefully driving him out of town. County commissioner said off-the-record if I did it on my property he couldn't do anything. I checked my deed, he has neither an easement or right-of-way across my place, nobody knows where his water/sewer lines are except for where they started gurgling up. I checked with the city first, their responsibility ends with the sewer line in the road on my north side, any private sewer lines attached to the city sewer line are the homeowners responsibility. The city sewer line does not run south up the highway to his place, he is inside the city limits, but has no way to connect to the sewer other than thru my place or get a permit to run one right next to the highway. Fast chance of that. My property behind my barn butts right up to the state highway right of way. As for security cameras, I've got a good IR HD DVR with 2 week loop 8 camera system, and I was pretty obvious when I re-aimed one over my pond to my property line, the camera just happens to be aimed at his trailer and all points in-between. Activity directed my way has ceased ever since I filed and he was notified of the complaint. Complaint was filed with our liberal county Health Department, official who came out and inspected the sites told me they had specific DEQ guidelines they have to follow, and it was definitely a public hazard. As to loads of dirt, etc. I considered a couple bags of quick-set in each hole, but pressure has a way of following the easiest path. His/my property line is right on the edge of his driveway, that where he comes out and paces back and forth hollering. He's on 1/4acre, I've got from the prop line north to the paved road, and have since purchased the hill to the west of him, giving me about 8 acres. He was none too happy when I bought it. Financially I'm not paying for squat, not relishing the idea of hiring an attorney but may have to go that way. Rumor has it the guys loaded with military, 20 years as a state operating engineer, pension, disability, etc. but I'm sure he still has his first 2 nickels and happily rubs them together. My wife and I just want him out of here, I've offered to buy the SOB's place for market value but he wanted triple assessed value. I dug a 40K gallon pond between my barn and his place, we actually hurry to get to our rigs because we're in range and in sight. That's a quarter acre of my place I can't even work on. If he comes over to discuss things, I'll ask if he has an attorney and direct him to send him over while he's getting his a$$ off my private property. Guess it's time for a hundred an hour attorney. All good points, opinions, and advise! I appreciate it! Scott
