I have a 1961 Dexta chassis number 957E81960,you can obtain publications from www.landsmans.co.uk. If I can get my son to work the scanner I will send you a pic taken with me aboard in about 1966.

Go to the Tractor Shed on this site. It's under Research and info.

Henrick,

I have a Fordson Dexta (Not a Super). My serial number is located on the left side of the tractor when you are facing forward on the elevated rib of the transmission housing were it joins the engine. It is easy to miss but my numbers are very large and stamped vertically down the rib. Yours may be located in the same place.

The cover of the Ford I&T Shop Service Manual (FO-201) has an excellent picture of the Dexta. You might try some of the antique tractor sites for a picture of a Super Dexta. You might also contact Walt's Tractor Parts (See Parts and Supplies, this site) He has Shop and Operator's manuals which could be helpful and may have additional helpful info. JoeD(TX)
