I am looking into buying a log-splitter. It is for home, not commercial use. I think what I need is a 2 stage one around 8 hp. Are there any recommendations on what brands or models would be good? Thanks!!!

The Forester A very appropriate name for a “Log Splitter” that was designed to handle and manager any of the trees found in the forest. A bold statement, it certainly is, but a company’s management that introduced log splitters to the mass markets in the mid-1970’s is making it.

The “Forester Product Line” is being introduced at this time with various models of both horizontal and vertical style splitters. Units available range from 16 to 25 ton capacity.
