I have a Farmall 806D. Sometimes it seems to work just fine but when I tried to disc yesterday it wouldn't move. It
acted like the clutch had gone out. We know the clutch is hydralically activated but with an intermittant problem like
this could it be a plugged hydralic tube, in the valve assembly on the side of the tractor or possibly an internal hydralic
pump that is partially plugged or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the TA worked before your problem started.
The sprag clutch will make the tractor move without any hyd. presure from the MCV pump.
99.99% of the time all any one needs to do with this problem like this to replace the clutch.

MCV pump might have lost prime. How's the steering, brakes when it acts like that?

If it starts working normal, take it as a sign the MCV pump is getting weak.

My 856 had a similar problem. I hate to say this but a clutch & TA and new live pwr shaft fixed the old girl right up.
