I bought two u joints yesterday, when you put these in with drive line in place there is no way to grease the zerk . All I have is a regular grease gun does the parts store carry a different kind of a grease gun head for zerks in tight places?

John Aside from using a needle tip on your grease gun as stated by Bob most u-joints can be ordered from spicer in a style that has a flush grease fitting on the end of one cap of the cross.Another method I have used with increased driveshaft angles is to take a die-grinder and carbide bit and clearance the yoke slighty to allow the grease coupler onto the nipple. Also grease couplers are avialable in different thickneses so try to find the thinest possible. Good Luck Dieseldog!

I have a needle adapter that fits on the end of the grease gun. It will fit into the U-joints and reach the zerk fittings. I got mine at NAPA.

Bill, he could be talking about a Chrysler product. There aint no such a thing as a right way to get to it with a grease gun without a needle or dropping the joint every time to grease it.
