does any one know if there is a kit to convert a gasoline generator to natural gas?

both these companies make conversion kits. If you ever want to buy a generator it's cheaper to buy the high watt one without the conversion and then do it yourself.

I work on propane buffers. Which have converted motors on them. Depending on the size and brand of your motor. I'm sure if you contacted the manufacturer they would lead you in the right direction. I would contact the motors manufacturer not the people who put together the generator.

they can be converted to propane I suppose they can be made to run on nat gas too.

Natural gas has almost half the BTU's that propane has. It will run, but you need to DE-rate the capacity of the KW generator.
I don't know the address, but DYNA has tri fuel generators. Gas-propane & Natural gas & thats where you can find out how to derate the setup...
