Bearing needed

I have a pto grain auger I bought with no name on it. It has a driveshaft going to the top, and the top bearing is shot. Due to the construction, it is difficult to fit a different bearing on the top flange.

The bearing is a Roberts ball bearing. It is 2 flanges riveted together, and the balls run right on the flange, no real outer race. It is a 1" hole, and the 3 flange bolts are on a 2-3/4" circle (smaller that the standard 1" lock bearing). The numbers on the bearing are Roberts AG3F-1 (or A63F-I, odd font they used...).

I've been told Roberts is out of business. I've also been told they are in business but do not wholesale their bearings, only as spendy replacement parts through original dealers. Since I do not know the brand of my auger, I can't go to the dealer.

Anyone have any ideas? I've talked to several bearing suppliers already.

Did you do a web search? I used metaCrawler and came up with a few possible sources with Email addresses. I used the keywords:
ball roller bearings industrial

Check at the local motorcycle/atv shop or look in their catalogs for a gadget called a "Case Saver". They were made for some of the Honda Odysseys (the go-cart with baloon tires-not the automobile).
They came in a kit with two steel plates, the bolts, nuts and bearing.
May be close enough for you to use...

As I recall, they had about a 1 inch capacity.
