Kemp Shredder Co.

I was given a Kemp Shredder recently that appears to be in working order, the gas engine will need some work of coarse. I would like to learn more about the piece of equipment before I fire it up. I think it has a 6HP B&S(not sure), it's a Model-SKO, with a serial no.- SKO 70 868. It has vague instructions on a plate that says "Kemp Shredder Co., Erie, Pa." and it says you can use either gas or electric motor to run it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I bought a Kemp shredder several years back, and am very pleased with it. Mine is powered by an eight hp Kolher magnum engine, that can take anything you can shove into the shute as long as it is not wet material(it clogs up the screen and the shreddings don't fall out). I have had to make some repairs to it but for my money it is an excellent machine.

I inherited a Kemp shredder and have been trying to contact the company but with no success. The address I have is Kemp Company 160 Koser Road
