Need help! Bought a 2ton truck with Vac over Hyd trailer brake hookup.Think a few parts might be missing but not sure. Any publications out there to guide me through service and installations?Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I can get some help plan on building a 40ft,trailer to go with it.Thanks in advance.

HayBoy, you should have a control unit under the hood; vacuum feed from either the intake manifold or from a vacuum pump, depending on kind of engine. Should have two vacuum lines going to rear of truck (for trailer hook-up). When you open these up, i.e., remove plug, should have vacuum (suction) at each when engine is running. Should also have a manual (or emergency) lever or handle inside cab. Have built trailer pretty much like you're talking about.
