This may be a dumb question. I have the occasional need for a spot welder for sheet metal. The hand held units are $200-$500 in price. My question. Is there a hand held unit that attaches to leads on my stick welder? Does any such animal exist or did I just embarrass my self? :-)

not a dumb question and yes they do exist for I had one just hook the welder leads to it and go to work.A friend needed it more than I did and I haven't seen it since. believe it was a miller.
