We have a very old Hyster forklift that we need a master cylinder for. I wondered if there was anyone out there that had a source for parts for old forklifts. I think it was probably made in the late 1950's. I have already tried auto supply stores with no luck. Thank you. Steve

We had a similar vintage fork lift at work and used it dayly until a year or so ago. Always got parts from Ocean State Forklifts Inc. they are at 22 hollister Rd. Seekonk, MA The phone no. is 1-800-698-4630. Worth a call. Have your model no. and serial no. on hand.

Steve I've done alot of forklift repair and a good source for not so expensive parts is UNISOURCE they should have a website I haven't checked yet,but now I'm curious. You could also also try wagner and match the bore and stroke.

Steve, Depending on what model HYSTER you have, your local dealer might be about to help out. Let me know where you are located and I'll come up with the dealer info. I work for a HYSTER dealer in New Orleans and we have a communication guide that cover the whole country.
At one time, the president of HYSTER was a guy named Steve Finney. Just useless trivia!!

John,
Ever run across a guy up there by the name of Jim Meurer? He worked there for years under John Latere?? and then moved to beautiful Louisiana.

Steve here's the names and addresses of shops
that rebuild your old unit. They clean and sleeve
them with brass and most give a lifetime warranty.

White Post Restorations in VA, www.whitepost.com

Sierra Specialty Automotive in CA
www.brakecylinder.com

Brake + Equipment Warehouse in MN
www.brakeplace.com

The turn around is usually 7-10 days. The work is
not cheap but thems the brakes I guess. Good
luck.
