Old master heater adjustments

Hey all, just picked up a pretty old yellow 125,000 BTU master heater, salamander style. It really blows cloud of kerosene smoke, and was hoping somebody knew how to adjust the injector so it would burn cleaner. I've been running it for awhile, burning out the old kero. Any ideas?

Mike look for an air adjustment on it or see if the air intake is blocked up or dirty.Also might want to clean or replace the fuel nozzle after draining all old fuel.
