Need to remove main front seal on 1961 MF 35

My folks need to find out how to remove the main front
seal from out 1961 Massey Ferguson 35 tractor.
It is leaking transmission fluid that is getting
on the starter. Any info would be appreciated!!

Beverly, To replace that seal you need to split the tractor at the bell housing. Once that is done you can drive a screwdiver under the seal to collapse it. Behind the seal is a bearing which should be checked because that may have caused the seal to go bad. If you have to do this i would also change the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing.
