I'm going to buy a hoist for the old truck.(ok, the old man under the truck). Does anyone have experience with the two and four post above ground models ??
Which is easier to use?
Which is the best value?
(Eagle, Buddy, Bend Pak etc.)

I bought mine from STINGER three years ago and have been pleased. Looked at them all, chose STINGER 4-post. Their design has slider blocks inside the post which virtually stops getting grease on you when you accidently touch the post. They were not the cheapest, but they didn't charge for delivery, threw in a "diaper" and jack slide. I did not go for the dollys they sell and am glad I didn't..too expensive but easy to make. Hope this helps. Richard

I use a Rotary "versa Lift". They make several models. I use the one that lays on the floor. It takes up about 3 inches of height but has no sideposts to waste floor space. This works with my JD MC, 850, Toyota P/U, the wife's Subaru and my Jag. Here is the Website for rotary.
