Does anyone out there know of a source for some left hand thread cutting dies???? I was quoted a price for one(1) die 3/8-20 of $74.95. That was not for a set but just for one die. I've tried Vicking,Greenfield, and Hanson to no avail. help Tom Smith

Thomas, are you sure you need 3/8-20? 3/8-16 & 3/8-24 are standard RH & LH sizes. 7/16 & 1/2 are both available in 20TPI. Any of these are available in the $10 range. If you truly need 3/8-20 you may need to pay the piper. What is the application?

Well how about cutting the threads on a lathe. You can cut about any thread, common or odd on a lathe, and if you need it to fit something the fit can be custom made.
