I'm looking for a sandblasting cabinet, but don't know what are the more popular brands or even where to shop off or on line for one. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

I've got a TIP Tools 965 Pro Shop blast cabinet that I wouldn't trade for anything! I did have a small bench top unit from another company which was a toy compared to the TIP. Just don't be fooled into thinking they are all the same. The gun, pickup system, light are some of the important things.

Of course it all depends upon how much you are going to use it, but as with all tools - QUALITY costs more, but delivers MUCH more!
TIP is found at:http://www.tiptools.com/

or try the link below (which I can never get to work)

Oh, I 4got to say - get a foot operated gun rather than hand trigger gun if you are going to use it much at all. Foot op generally runs another $100, but is well worth it!

Up here in Canada sand blast cabinets are a small fortune, so I built my own. I got the gun, tube and gloves from TIP. I bent up 18 ga tin and used an old fan motor out of a clothes dryer for the exhaust fan. Mine is 4 feet long. If your gonna make one, make it large. If you need details, let me know. I have less than $100 in mine.
