Does anyone make the stake table tools of the sheetmetal trade? Hand crank crimpers, rolls and the like? Seems to me an outfit called Diacro made them, but I haven't seen any on auctions.

Go with Pexto and forget the cheaper brands. Try local machinery companys as they get these in when they but out SM companys and usally sell them for reasonable prices as there slow movers.

Availbale new? yes
expensive yep!

Thanks everyone. I have a table out of a school shop with a Pexto plate and I have two or three shaped stakes. Sure could have used a chimney pipe crimper and I remembered one they had the Industrial Arts Lab at Iowa State years ago

Check Grizzly.com. I don't know how their quality is compared to diacro but all kinds of metalworking tools and I've had dealings with them for parts and a compressor and they are great to work with. Bob

Check out harbor freight, their last catalog contains many of the tools you seek. I imagine the quality is nowwhere near that of Diacro but perhaps they'll do.

Pexto is another good name in these tools. Harbor Freight stuff is not much (quality) compared to Pexto or DiAcro, but might be sufficient. DiAcro stuff was top $$$ 40 years ago, haven't looked at it since then.
