SNAP ON MAKES A SOCKET FOR TAKING GLOW PLUGS OUT. BEST BET IS TO GET A CATALOG FROM THEM. YOU CAN CHECK PLUGS WITH OUT REMOVING FROM ENGINE BY PLACING ONE END OF 12 OR 24 VOLT TEST LIGHT ON BATTERY & OTHER END ON GLOW PLUG WHERE WIRE HARNESS ATTACHES. IF THE LIGHT LIGHTS UP YOUR GOOD TO GO

TO TEST GLOW PLUGS WITH OUT REMOVING FROM THE ENGINE IT MAY BE GOOD IDEA TO USE A MULTI METER AND CHECK AMPS.A BALL PARK FIGURE IS 6 AMPS PER PLUG.

I use a deep well socket or a boxend wrench if possible.
