For Christmas (instead of what I asked for) I got a new Craftsman adjustable box end wrench. I guess it was the biggest one they had and "was a whole lot cheaper than the entire set you wanted...". It goes up to about 1 1/2" (one and a half) and seems pretty sturdy. Are they any good or should I make a decoy anchor out of it?

I never tried an adjustable box end before but I'm sure it won't replace a set of "real" wrenches. When I get some "fits-all knuckle-buster" for Christmas I just say Thank you and throw it in the tool box, once in a blue moon they come in handy and grab some oddball nut or bolt. Give it some drawer space for awhile, it just might bail you out someday.

That's kinda what I thought...Maybe I'll get some wrenches for Martin Luther King Day! Nothing like a lifetime guarantee on a decoy anchor!!!
