I have a Cambell Hausfeld Compressor Model Number VT5587, it's an up right compressor. I also just bought an auto compressor drainer kit for it from Harbor Freight. The only problem is that so far I can't figure out how to hook it up.. It says to hook inline with Vented Pressue switch, pilot valve or receiver pressure unloader. The other option is discharge unloader or check valve. Can't seem to find any indication in my compressor manual for any of these. Please help.

Thanks..
Bill

What they are referring to is the head unloader discharge from the pressure switch, if your switch has one, that would be where the air comes out of when the compressor shuts off.
Connect a line from that to the connection on the "automatic vent" and every time the compressor shuts down, the exhausted air will open the drain valve and empty the tank of moisture.
After you go thru all that hookup, the thing will work for a week or 2 since it's from Harbour Freight.

You might call their customer service dept. and request clarification of instructions.

If you got it from Harbor freight, and call the manufacture and get customer service , they will probably be speaking Chinese
