The Ultimate Chainsaw?

Got my new Hot Rod magazine yesterday and showed this guy who built a Buick V8 Chainsaw. Puts out 300 hp and weighs 509 lbs.
The guy who owns it competes in the Unlimited Hot Saw class and he and his burly helper can go through a 30" log in just over 1 second. When they're cutting, it looks like smoke coming out of the log, but is actually steam. The extreme chain speed causes the water inside the log to vaporize on contact.
Enjoy

I saw that, the 2 seater, I mean 2 grabber, obviously it's impractical for any real use, and probably very dangerous, kind of a display piece if you ask me. One of those things you'd think impossible to build, but with enough money and time anything is possible.

Hmm, let's see. I wouldn't exactly like to be around that thing, as fast as that chain goes. If that chain sanps in two, it would decapitate a hundred people in a row.

Yeah, They say they had 1 chain break and they found a piece of it 1 1/2 miles away.

They found the piece 1 1/2 miles away... who or what was it stuck in to get carried that far? LOL!
