Before Snap-On bought J.H. Williams, I think the only ratchet made by Williams was a round head design with 48 or more teeth along the inner circumference of the head. If this is the style you have, you most likely can use a regular Williams ratchet for replacements. However, my guess is that you are looking to replace the pawls and inner pinio gear. If so, these units probably were made by others. It is possible that KD (Danaher) made this tool for Williams as KD makes a lot of torque tools. I worked for Armstrong and know that we didn't supply Williams with ratchet assemblies during my 20+ years. Wright Tool has considerable flexibility in their thinking and production. Maybe they were the suppliers. Finally, Williams went overseas for some of their needs for a decade or more. If they imported ratchet assemblies, you may find it impossible to get repair items. Your only solution might be to replace the entire ratchet, if you can.
