Glenn: google up "Williams Low Buck Tools"...back in the day, I bought a few fabrication tools from them (over center tubing knotcher) and copied some of theirs (bead roller, brake) to build my own. They have a hydraulic ( bottle jack) powered tubing bender with mandrels for about $500-but they sell the mandrels seperate so you might be able to fab up the rest. they used to make a manual (over-center) one for a lot less $$- still might. This companyy started as a guy making home-made tools in his back yard for stock car racers; you can get some great ideas for fabbing up your own tools from the pictures of theirs.

Thanks Jose! I still have one of their old catalogs showing their torch pattern cutter.

They show tubing benders and their bender facts page answers lots of questions on those other pipe benders.
