I used to move a lot of oil field tanks with a similar rectangular skid and 2 chains around the tank and then winch them over the tail board and off we go after booming everything down. For powerlines we used a 20' piece of 2" pvc pipe tied across the top and pulled down in front and tied down. Then very slowly drive under and let the power lines slide along the pipe. Those loads require an over heighth and over width permit which requires designating a route that doesn't run you into bridges, etc.

man that is one slick set up!!! i moved 3 bins a couple years ago, took em all apart, air floors, concrete blocks, what a pain in the butt, this rig makes it look like childs play!!! is that a store bought rig or custom made?

It is all custom made, the cupped arms are all hydralic controlled, the tilt is hydralic, and it has hydraulic jacks on the back so when it lets it down, it can jack itself up and then let the bin down flat, very slick deal, they also put a skid rod on the top of it with a "scoop" on the front, so if they came to a low hanging wire, it just scoops it up and slides over the top of it....works real slick.
