What is the difference between an Onan CCK-S and CCKA-S? I have 2 OLD Lincoln Lincwelder 225's with these 2 engines on them. Both USED to run, but the CCK-S is on the good generator, and has some internal problems and the CCKA-S is the supposedly good (running) engine on a bad generator.

Thanks in advance yall

Might want to ask on the garden tractor forum. Lot of onan experts over there. Cub and Deere used onan engines at one time.

Are you sure the generator is bad? Sometimes you can get it going again by reflashing with an electric drill.

The generator has been parted out. I believe the problem with it was something about it got too hot and melted some of the wires and such internally.
