Can any body tell me how to adjust the head lights on a GMC Sierra Pick up? I have found two hex adjusting studs on the top of the head light. Is the adjusters on the bottom of the head light to push the light beam up. Right now a person could use the truck to hunt dew worms. I tried to adjust the light on the driver side, and I turned the adjusting studs, until one came out. The one closest to the fender, and the headlight beam didn't move up. Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks. Bruce.

BRUCE - I WENT THRU THE SAME SITUATION AS YOU ARE. THE ADJUSTING FASTENERS ARE DOWN A HOLE FROM THE TOP OF THE BLACK METAL FRAME WORK. A FLSHLIGHT WILL HELP YOU FIND THEM. I WENT AS FAR AS TAKING THE RECOMENDATION FROM MY LOCAL BODY SHOP AND PURCHASED BRAND NEW OEM GM HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES. ONLY TO FIND OUT I DONT EVEN NEED THEM !! MY PICKUP IS A 1995 CHEV., SAME THING AS YOURS. I WOULD LIKE TO SELL THESE NEW HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I COULD GET RID OF THEM. I DONT NEED A PAIR OF BRAND NEW OEM HEADLAMPS JUST SITTING IN MY SHOP. TO ANSWER YOU QUESTIONS FUTHER BRUCE, YOU COULD PH. ME IF YOU WISH. CELL 815-499-8708 AFTER I FOUND THE ADJUSTERS,IT WAS A SIMPLE JOB. --DEAN--

Usually there is a section in the owner"s manual that shows how to adjust the headlights.

The screws you are adjusting are the retaining bolts for the headlite assembly. The adjustment screws are down in the 2 holes near them,
