The original subject was "Gott Plastic Gas Cans".

I need the two black caps for 6 Gott gasoline cans. Where can you order replacement caps for these cans. Thanks

i bought the replacement nozzle kit, mainly for the black cap. you really have to watch those things about being shook up, or sitting in sun. that safety tab won,t hold every time. maybe i,ll try a potato. Paul

I hada fellow stop in last summer and ask if I would make some. He had about 10 cans that needed caps. I gave him a price on tooling and he was not able to speek. I ask if he had an outlet for them and he didn't want to get involved in selling them.
Sounds like it might have been something I should have given more thought. Tooling would probly be in the range of ten grand built for a MUD. (master unit die)

Most states have outlawed them. All that is available are those very "unsafe" so called "anti spill" cans now that IMHO are far worse for spilling then the old style cans
