Was in Lowes today and they had a close out on Skil 2372 cordless power wrench. Seems to work good was a right angle screwdriver and as a light/med duty nut driver it has std 1/4 inch drive up to 400in pound of torque.Price $15.00 down from $60.00.

So, would it replace a 1/4 air ratchet? in reply to jack12345, 03-28-2008 20:54:17
Would you find it easier to use under the hood or dash of a car than a 1/4" air ratchet? Or is it a little gimmicky for that?

Its about the size and weight of my 3/8 drive air ratchet. used it about 2hrs today on 1/4 & 5/16 head sheet metal screws. If the nut/screw is too tight use it as a a normal ratchet until its loose for power ratchet to take over. I don't think it will replace your air ratchet but its really great not having that air hose getting in your way in tight places. Its 7.2 v takes more than a hour to charge.Used it to change out spark plugs ..have one that is rather slow to take out with std ratchet the Skil power ratchet took zipped it right out.Check out Amazon.com they have several reports on the Skil 2372.
