A fellow owed me money....couldent come up with it so he gave me tools..... one of them is a Miller 250 mig welder with large gas cyl.....looks good,welds good....question is what is it worth? Thanks ....Don

If you can document to a potential buyer that the tank was owned by the debtor, and where he can fill it, it alone is worth on the order of $150 to $180 (empty and assuming it is a 125 cu.ft tank.

I see tanks on craigslist frequently (and am shopping for a 125 cu.ft. argon tank for TIG) but I hesitate to buy used not knowing where it can be filled (preferably exchanged for a full one).

I have a friend that works at Tractor Supply..... he said they exchange tanks.....Don

They run 12-1300 new, I've seen some sell at auctions for 5-600 used.
You interested in selling? If so where are you located?

I payed $1300 for my 250x (digital) a few years ago, took me awhile to buy one but I have never regretted it! Miller makes an excellent welder with good resale.

if it's a bobcat 250 they sell for 28-3000 new

2000-2500 used in good condition

it's a very good welder with 10k generator..I love mine
