I have an OLD RegO cutting torch head M/N KXA 6-58. I was wondering IF there is someplace I could buy a new tip. The one I have was working OK until I got some slag it. I cleaned it, was able to open all of the orfices but now before I get to a neutral flame there is a "pop" and the flame gos out.

What size of tip? If your acetylene is too low and has too much much black smoke will cause the tip to backfire and go out when you try to add oxygen. Also make sure the cutting jet oxygen is turning all the way off and not leaking before you add preheat oxygen.

Kent, any welding supply should be able to get one for you. The closest store we have to you though is Mexico MO.
