Has anybody out there had any experience with a computer program you put in the Dodge Cummings? A guy told me that you can soup them up a little by doing that. I take "The Trailer Life" magazine and there is page after page for the Power Stokes but nothing for the Cummings. Later

DIESEL INJECTION is the place to call 724- 274-4080 you want to talk to a Bruce Mallinson he will have what you need from mild to wild. I have no knowledge of the system but yes, you can have the program modified. I would strongly suggest that this be done ONLY by Cummins. If the programming is not done properly and or the parameters are not set properly, you may end up buying not only a new computer but a whole new engine and or transmission. I am not positive but I think the eng/trans are both controlled or monitored by the central computer. I suggest you find a reputable Cummins factory repair center and allow only these people to make any changes. Cummins used to warranty all work done at their factory centers so if something is done wrong, you don't end up being the one paying the price. You should check to see if they still warranty the work and also if having the program modified will void any engine/truck mfg's warranty if it is done.

Link below is to the Cummins homepage for USA/Canada. (entered it in HTML and in the link insert box so it should work one way at least.)
