Have to start this unit with the throttle wide open. The unit has plenty of power but will not idle. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to correct it.

Clean the muffler ? Clean/rebuild the carb ?
I have a 2150 someone gave me. It had the same problems. I cleaned the muffler out and put a kit in the carb and all was fine. Not sure which one fid it but I suspect it was the carb kit, the little rubber parts get hard and do not work so well.

Check the fuel line while you are in there too for cracks/hardness.
