I have an ancient Advance 600 electric pressure washer I"m trying to bring back to life. Does anyone know the weight of oil that should be used in the crankcase of a pressure washer?

Hit a HD or lowes.. I've seen oil for them setting on the shelf. in lieu of that.. a air pump oil.. would probably work.. like 30wND.. etc.

I've seen quite a few synthetic compressor oils out lately.

Only reason I wouldn't use a motor oil, is that motor oils are usually detergent, thus suspending particles for a filter to remove.. most compressors i've seen have no oil pump or filters.. thus having suspended particles floating around the bearings 100% of the time is less desireable, vs just letting them set in the bottom of the sump waiting for that oil change / flush... That's also why i mentioned ND 30w oil.. etc., in leiu of the proper compressor oil..
