Pressure gauges specifically.Local industrial salvage often has various pressure gauges on sale,in singles, pairs, lots of several.
In short are all pressure gauges basically the same, other than capacities/markings?For instance could"air conditioner gauges"be used for shop airlines etc,if pressures are within range of gauges.Or a nice brass 8" "steam gauge" maxing at 300lbs used as a main air manifold gauge?
NOT looking to use with flammable gases or such, just shop air.

Just a thought...Just dont put them on your oxygen tank regulator....if they had been used for oil could make a bad day

I use air conditioning gauges on all sorts of pressure lines, exception is water, though.

Never had a problem with propane, actelyene, air, even hydraulic press. testing. up to 500 pounds. John,PA

Generally you would be fine. The Bourdon tube that operates the needle is made of brass , and so long as your pressure source is compatible with it , it will be ok. I am using several steam guages in my air circuit in the shop, great big ones you can see across the room .
