Not funny then I'm sure, but now... That had to be something to screw in a fuse then hear BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM upstairs. And like anything else a 1/4 second to screw in, eternity to unscrew under the circumstances. Rod's story? That's hillarious. The Pontiac bit reminds me of a friend and his then new rice rocket. Thankfully his cousin didn't get hurt...too much. I stopped over and a bunch of buddies were standing around looking at my buddy's rice rocket, just smashed to bits, completely totalled. I asked what happened. His cousin stopped over and asked if he could take it out after promising that he was an expert rice rocket rider. He started it and took off...like a rocket. I don't know how fast a rice rocket can be going from take off until it hit that parked Cadillac across the street, two doors down, but it knocked the back bumper off. They walked me over and sure enough, the bumber was lying in the street. And if that wasn't enough, they pointed to that neighbor's roof and one of his cousins shoes was up there, right in the middle. I guess he didn't get hurt...too bad, so is funny now. I guess them rice rockets can really get up and rocket alright.
