I have an old Homelite C51 chainsaw that my Grandfather owned. It's not running and I would like to restore it but not sure if I can still get parts for it. My father said he quit using it due to some part he couldn't get any longer but not sure what that was right off. I want to say something to do with carburetor. This is a future project on a list of restoration projects and I wanted to know if there is someone who specializes in parts for these? It looks like this saw was produced between 1964-67 but am unsure which year I have? Is there a way to tell this by looking a serial tag on saw? Thanks for any help.

I bought a used one in 1966 and they were way out of date then. I think your dates of manufacture are about 10 years off.
