Look at the one at Harbor Fre8ght. It's 40 lb medium size and $180 on sale now thru Feb 25. I paid $200 5 years ago. I guess business is slacking off. If you don't have the flyer, go to the web site. Item 93608 or 39170.

I have a TiP cabnet I bought new 10 years ago. I use it almost every day and haven't had any problems other than the dust collector is junk.
Order one without the dust collector and spend that money on a good shopvac (Shopvac or Craftsman made by Shopvac). I replace the front glass about once a year with a new piece of double strength glass and order 3 new ceramic nozzles about every 6 months from TiP. Otherwise no problem. Well worth the money spent. You would be amazed at how much more an old part will bring on Fleabay if it's cleaned up nice and painted correct colors.

I have bought some of mine from TSC and a built a couple out of plywood. The last one came from a body shop. Now I want a bigger one and what i have in mind is a grain hopper off a combine. I can't seem to get around to it.

If you make your own or buy one I redid most of mine for replacing the glass. I found some old style cam like storm window hardware. Now to replace the glass I just flip a lever type thing over center and remove / replace the glass and gently flip the lever over again. I never had much luck with plex-o- glass as the dust collects on it more than used glass.

A shop vac is more than enough air movment, the filtration on the vac itself (off the shelf) is perhaps not the best unless you put the drywall filter on. That is just my personel opinion however.

I have no idea how much you have been around sandblasters, but they are kinda like the mother in law. You have to learn the tricks to avoid problems.

Econoline makes some very nice low line (for them ) units. Low dollar production cabinets. We had one at work.40X48 .Paid less than a $1000 including the dust collector unit. Shop Vac would take care of that on a home unit and bring the cost way down.

Quality stuff. You get what you pay for. The cheap cabinets are just junk. If you don't want to spend that kind of money, buy their book on building one out of plywood, then buy their gun and gloves and misc hardware.
