Do yourself a favor !!! Buy a Honda CRV or Pilot. Next choice would be a Toyota Rav4 or Highlander or Sequioa Pick which one suits your size and if any needs for towing. The Jeep Grand Cherokees are nice and my niece has one now her 2nd one. First one got totaled out. Bought them used and previous owners had a long list of parts they replaced and my Dad has replaced many on it too. Sister has a 1999 Honda CRV bought it new. Might have over 130,000 miles now ? NEVER had any issues with it other than maintenance. She had an old accord before this maybe 300,000 on it ? and it was a good one too. Got us convinced so far. Dad has a 2004 Pilot not many miles but trouble free. Mom just got a left over 2007 CRV. They got the other Sister a used 1999 or 2000 CRV it may have 100,000 on it from previous owner. So far I think Dad may of put a door lock actuator in it. I just got a 2008 Honda Fit to try and save some gas. Haven't ran it much. I hope it holds up as good as my Sisters 99' CRV. Got my finger crossed as I seem to get LEMONS but that has about went away since I quit buying GM's. My 1999 Plymouth Van had no issues in 100,000 miles and my 1996 Dodge Ram bought with 80,000 miles now has 175,000 miles hasn't been too bad. Water pump and intake gasket, valve cover gaskets, rear diff. carrier bearings. The other stuff I consider wear items on a 4x4 u-joints,ball joints. Still doesn't leak a drop of anything on the floor !!!! NEVER had that with a GM.
