I have a small engine that is leaking oil around one of the wires that goes into the block low oil sensor. Rather than removing sensor (which is working) I been thinking about sealing the area from the outside with JB WELD or some other epoxy..there is plenty of room and looks like factory used epoxy for sealant to begin. Its NOT leaking between block and sensor but the wire that goes thru the sensor. To replace sensor the block has to be split. Any ideas to which sealant/epoxy would be best for this?

Any two part epoxy that is heat resistant should work. Check with your local auto parts store they should have something that will work. You will have to have the area super clean (oil free)for the epoxy to adhere. Good luck.
