probably the best quality in an aftermarket new bumper will be a platinum series for keystone automotive. they are a major supplier of aftermarket collision parts to body shops throughout the us. any body shop can order one for you. if you need a price, email me and i can look it up for you. need to know, chrome or painted? with pads or without? fog lamps? tow hooks? xl, xlt or lariat? there are a few choices!!!

I buy quite a few pickup parts from LMC's Lenexa, KS facility. It's always been good stuff at competitive prices.

And you can't always knock aftermarket parts. I just hung a pair of aftermarket front fenders on an '89 Chevy pickup that fit along the door front better then the originals I took off.

Actually, I'd like sometime to see the manufacturers document the origin of their OEM replacement sheet metal. A couple of times, I've found the same manufacturing defect in both OEM and aftermarket versions of the same part. Like the manufacturers would document that.

Google LMC truck parts. They are on the east coast , and have all kinds of restoration parts for P.U. trucks

I'll ASSUME you want a made in Taiwan or China aftermarket unit.

If you pick up just about any issue of "Sport Truck", or various 4X4 magazines, there's all sorts of ads for fancy aftermarket bumpers, and if you take a good look at the ads, some of them sell a basic "OEM replacement" as, well, fairly reasonably. I recently got a front bumper for a Chevy diesel with the "snorkel holes" from one of those place. I don't remember the name, I could take a look at the paperwork at the shop, and post back.

Ford stuff may be a little tougher to find than Chevy, good luck!
