looking all over the net for a JD 46 clutch tool in think there made by OTC any one know were to look thanks cdv

Which tractor and which dual clutch? Deere changed the number on those gauges many times, so there many be several tool numbers that do the same thing. Deere used to give us specs on them to make them ourselves - or we'd buy the ones made for Deere by OTC. As the gauges got newer, they were made for multiple use and often one gauge took the place of three old ones.

If it's the finger-height gauge - you can adjust without the gauge by carefuel measurement - or - just go to a Deere shop that knows old tractors (good luck!) and trace their gauge onto cardboard and make your own.

Have you checked ebay? There is/was a couple of them there, just put in "John Deere Tool" Are you needing the alignment tool or the adjustment tool for the dual clutch?

Have you tried ebay ?

I think that is the tool I went to my dealer and made a tracing of it and then made one out of steel from the tracing.
