Radail arm saw parts needed

I have a craftsman radail arm saw model 113.29450 and need a part that sears no longer has. The part number I need is 63183 it is the whole cap assembly but all really need is the lift shaft.

Please tell the nice Lady I said "Hi"! Much to my shame I can't recall her name and since it's a "past issue" I trashed my notes.

She's the only person at Emerson who handles these recalls so it's gotta be the same Lady.

From my dealings with her she's a very nice person - and she has a good sense of humor!

What's wrong with the old "jackscrew"... broken, worn out, missing? Any chance it could be repaired?

I have a similar saw, that was scorched in a shop fire, and has been sitting outside for years.

I'll take a look tomorrow, and see if it's the same setup, and there's any chance of salvaging the part. Don't hold your breath, though, it's probably pretty rusted by now.
