I REALLY had to work hard to come up with excuses to skip class when I was in school in San Antonio. It never got cold or even rained. I had to be creative. Try to stay warm while you sleep in!!

One would think they could heat the rooms better than that. Is it co-ed?

Stop crying. When I was a kid, the window at the foot of my bed used to have a half inch of ice on the inside during the winter. Kids got it too easy today.

When I was a boy in the blizzard of 77 my elementary school was closed for several days due to massive snow, couldnt get the buses down the main roads safely.

I remember my Freshman year at Purdue, Jan 1977 with a wind chill of -70. That was no fun.

About all I was motivated to do was to grab another blanket and stay in bed.

Cold is a heck of a motivator especially if your room's that cold.

We had -37 yesterday warmed up -2 today cloudy. Better cold than that damn slush that makes ruts in the road. Helps kill those pine bugs too.

Hi Jack,

Where are you where it's that cold? -37 is at least 37 degrees colder than than any weather I've ever been in, and I don't feel deprived.

I was going to ask you if that temperature was farenheit or centigrade, but in that range it hardly makes a difference. The two scales converge at -40. Today's fun fact.

Keep warm, Stan
