See if I can make this photo appear for you.

Just a pic of the 056 that was giving me grief. It is now something I am proud of.

bought a new Stihl saw [smallest one they sell don"t know the number] hard to start from day one used it three times & was told by dealer that I would have to use starting either to get it to start ...he wanted $85 to install a new carb. that he didn"t know would fix it or not ...I told him to just keep it ..I"ll buy some other brand...was about 9 mo. old & factory would not stand behind it...piece of junk ripoff...Kent

I've got an 020 AVP that likes to give me hell from time to time, but it always starts and idles fine. try opening the thorttle to start cutting and it falls on its face. rev it a few times, it starts to run perfect and cutting action can begin! i've always used stihl saws and brush saws, i'll keep running stihl till my dyin day!

Glad to hear that you fixed her all up. I have bought a used ST 038 saw that would not run right at all. The original owner claimed it was wore out. Instead, intensive cleaning of the tanks and the carb and the correction of all the controls made it run like a dream. A clean and tuned-up saw is the way to go, and try to keep yours clean. There's nothing wrong with taking an air hose and doing a little cleaning once in a while.

put on a shop apron or coveralls when you do. Cleans great but very messy & you can get oil crud in your eyes.
