Have a dell with windows--was trying to send a couple pics to myself of a dump truck I have for sale. The pics are so big that that won't come thru and I can't get them to stop trying to send.
It is tying up the computer from being able to send other stuff or receive mail.
Don't have a clue here on how to get it to stop trying to send.

If you got it in a folder on your own computer, you can go to photobucket.com and resize it there and send it back to your folder. When you upload to photobuck, it is then on a computer website which you can send about anywhere....deadeye

The question---I have a pic on my document page that is to big. How do I send it to PHOTOBUCKET FOR A RESIZE and then send it back to my document page????

Some of the photo programs, like CompuPic, can resize the pic, like to an 800x600 or 640x480 to get the byte size way down. Most email servers and some ISPs put a limit on how big a file you can email.

Sounds like you got it fixed - just so you know - if you are running Windows XP, you should be able to right-click on the picture's name in the directory where it stored - then select "send to" then "mail recipient" and it should offer to send smaller versions of the pictures...

That is sometimes helpful with really large pics that are rejected by the email server...

If your using Outlook Express, press the stop button and change folders to where the messages are located. Usually in the "outbox". Click on them one time and press the delete key.
