If they are 4 wire 220V connections, then you can do it in a junction box.
The four wires are 2 hots (Usually Red and Black), 1 neutral (Usually White), and 1 ground (Usually Green or bare copper). The 110 outlets use 1 hot (either ONE; Red or Black), the neutral, and the ground.
If you are running several things I would put one set of 110 outlets on each side of the line and try to keep the load ballenced between them. This is easy in a quazd box. Put in two duplex outlets, run the Red to one duplex outlet hot, run the black to the other duplex outlets hot, and pigtail the Neutral to both outlets neutral connection. Ground goes to the box, and both outlets ground connections. If you want to add some safety, use GFI outlets instead of regular dupex outlets. Depending on the application and the rating of the circuitbreaker on the generator, you might want to add fuses or circuit breakers to the hot connections rated at 15 or 20 Amps. All this seems confusing, you might want to pick up a book on farm and residential wiring or ask someone with experiance to help you.
Good luck and be safe.

Whats implied in his response is that you can do this by wiring up a 220 plug to this quad and not have to tear your generator housing apart except to verify your colors.
