Pulling motor on white 2-85

Well I have a fun job ahead of me. Farmer friends white cavitated its sleeve (coolant erroded through the sleeve, I think I have the right term). They pulled the head off a few years ago and asked me to finish it. Will the motor come out like a regular pickup/old tractor engine? Or will there be anything out of the ordinary I'll have to disconnect. I helped pull a cat 3208 out of a 4-150 a few years ago and there was some sort of long shaft that had to be removed or disconnected in order to pull it. Somebody said this one was the same way. Any guess's? It has the perkins straight 6 diesel. Thanks!

It's one of those tied in-together contraptions. All in all a very good tractor, but rather complicated when you go to fixing things. I've heard of the shaft thing on a.. 2-105?? that a guy was repairing.

Wonder where the shop manuals are for it??

If I remember right you have to pull the pto and shaft out and tip the cab back and remove the fuel tank, then lift the engine and over/under out. Going back in you have to be VERY careful not to damage the o-ring on the rear end of the over/under coupling, because you cannot tell if it was damaged until the tractor is together and running. I used to want to run and hide whenever a White came in the shop.
