I need to have my backhoe at another location that is about 25-30 miles away. I would like to drive it there rather than haul it as I have no trailer and its a pain arranging transport, waiting etc.
Now here's the "Q" will I do any harm to backhoe? excess tire wear? Advise please, thanks, Jack

Make sure the splines on your steering pitman arms are tight. Otherwise allow enough time so you don't need to hurry. Dad used to run my 310A all over the county on different jobs. I used to carry over the road liability insurance on this and The State Police requested that we have an SMV triangle on the left rear. Otherwise no problems.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Won't hurt it at all. Just make sure your fluids are full and if it's cold your fuel is treated. They can get alittle bouncy in the front end so keep the bucket low.
